Food, Wine & Weddings

Every year the !Naba Food & Wine Festival is a big hit, with lots to enjoy for all foodies.

This year ncweddings joined in on the action as a marketing adventure, because let’s be honest – other than love – weddings are all about celebration, and it isn’t a celebration without food and wine. Thus we thought it appropriate to explore this new platform. ncweddings teamed up with our local newspaper – The Gemsbok – to make the day even more special for our vendors, suppliers, and one lucky bride.

Our vendors put in a great effort to make our stall look amazing and to bring the concept of ncweddings to life. We featured makeup, dresses, cakes, a globe to get the honeymoon travel bug excited, pretty photo books, and many more. Check out the photos below. The flowers, wall art and mockup advertising material, transformed the space into an art studio. There were even lovely bridal hair examples, wedding invites, thank you cards and décor, banners and bouquets, and real tasty canapés. Thank you to each and every vendor for taking part. We appreciate your team effort.

The festival was held on the 2nd of September in Upington. To further incorporate the food element, our stall entailed cake tasting. The delicious cakes were a big hit!
ncweddings took hands with The Gemsbok by providing various sponsors and assistance with crowning the Gemsbok Bride of the Year. Congratulations to the winner – Louisa Croukamp. Louisa was pampered by the following ncweddings vendors: Ann-Lee Couture (dress); The Wellness Clinic (makeup); Ammara Hair Studio (hair); Hadassah Laser Clinic (nails); and Liz-Mari Marais Photography (photos).

We are truly excited for the next marketing extravaganza! ncweddings strives to stay involved with occasions like this in order to gain exposure for ourselves and our suppliers and vendors.
