Bride and Groom - Real Weddings

We wanted a relaxed, fun, wedding festival. Our friends and family came from all over South Africa for our wedding and we wanted to show them the best that Upington has to offer.

The colour scheme was earthy and natural. Black, green and beige were the main colours. The flowers in the church and in our bouquets were a mixture of green and white.

I envisioned a day full of love and gathering of family to celebrate the joining of two families. It was very clean, open, sophisticated – exactly what we wanted.

My favourite moment was seeing my soon-to-be husband standing at the end of that isle. The way he looked at me made me feel like I was the only woman in that church!

The colour scheme for our wedding was: a dusty rose pink, mint green and crème with white and hessian accents. We chose a vintage – rustic style for the wedding.

Colours consisted mostly of white, green, and soft pink with wooden tables & white tiffany chairs incorporating a farm feeling, whilst making it elegant and pretty.

Rustic theme, with lavender. This is about all that I said to Sieglinda (Our wedding planner from A pretty Occasion). She did the rest and it was perfect!

I had a real traditional wedding with lots of dancing and scrumptious food. For flowers I went with Proteas, Fynbos and Herbs.
