Maria Botha, glad to meet you! Life, as I perceive it, is a series of events which can be captured in frames per second: the moment a bridegroom’s eyes connect with his soon-to-be wife; the amazement of a flower girl when she witnesses the first kiss; a squeeze of hands between grandma and grandpa, reminding each other secretly of their long gone wedding day; the festive mood amongst guests when they join the bride and groom on the dance floor. I love people in all their uniqueness and find delight in being part of events worth celebrating, whether it be a birthday, matric farewell, engagement…

I have invested a great deal into my business; not only in equipment, but also in training and self improvement. I still do. Most of my mentors are fine art photographers and the best in their field. I believe a bit of their magic has rubbed off on me… I shall never cease to learn.

Are you considering running off and getting married somewhere remote? Nothing stops me from travelling. My kids have left the nest, my husband is all grown up and can look after our dogs (at least for a few days). Call me!
