ncweddings Ladies Morning
with Minki van der Westhuizen

On Saturday 16 June, ncweddings held what we believe to have been an extremely successful
ladies morning. The morning was great fun and feedback thus far immensely positive. The ladies
are suggesting it become an annual function, with the good timing in the winter, when the men
are off hunting.

Ncweddings decided to stay true to the 2018/2019 wedding trends and approached the décor
with an industrial theme in mind. Die Ou Huis, sponsored by Zietsman van der Walt, was the
perfect fit. Additionally we worked around Pantone’s Color Of The Year – Ultra Violet and added
the ncweddings Coral Pink to the equation. A huge thank you to Rita Agenbag for the industrial
wooden tables and Tent Rent for helping provide chairs, the stage and additional décor.
It all worked together quite well.

Ncweddings vendors and suppliers were invited to set up a table each and show off their
products and/or services. Vendors who could not attend formed part of the ncweddings
corner and received exposure there.

Between 250 and 300 ladies were greeted by Orange River Wine Cellars with a glass of
champagne or warm sherry in hand. They came to listen to our guest speaker Minki van der
Westhuizen, whose flight was sponsored by Airlink. This is a collaboration and friendship
ncweddings is extremely thankful for.

We were also thankful to have Inoar as guest speakers, who contributed financially towards
the day and were able to introduce the ladies to their complete range of hair products.
Thanks to Minki’s positive experience with Inoar products, the ladies flocked to purchase their
Speed Blond hair pack.

We ended the morning off with numerous lucky draws sponsored by various vendors and
suppliers, after which guests enjoyed something to eat. Ladies are still chattering about the
delicious appetizers!

We truly are thankful for each and every sponsor and or contribution to this day. With your
continued support we strive towards a standard of excellence in pushing the Northern Cape to
the frontline and providing eventful memories where women can enjoy the talented services that
vendors have to offer.
